Nortec Fire
Nortec provide bespoke fire safety and security systems for businesses and public sector organisations across the North of England.
Our goal was to present Nortec as a trusted, modern and highly capable fire and security specialist, while still reflecting their approachable, family-run values, and to converts visits into online enquiries.

Our Approach
To achieve this, we analysed their old website and prioritised communication with Tara and Harriet to understand the why, what and how their services can help businesses and organisations in the North of England with their own fire safety and security needs.
Since Nortec Fire is a family-run business with an excellent record of customer service, we thought it'd be great to put faces of real people who work at Nortec Fire. As we worked on similar projects before, we've noticed that genuine photography, real people, and their day-to-day activities captured in a professionally taken photographs, drive more visitors to make an enquiry, and we usually get things right.
Therefore, we asked Nortec Fire to hire a professional photographer that can take photos of their team and their day-to-day activities. We used this photography across the website, with an emphasis on placing a photograph of real person next to any call to action. In the age of stock photography and AI chatbots, finding authenticity online is a luxury. Therefore, our aim was to reassure visitors that the person who will respond to their enquiry is real.

Result
Thanks to the feedback and communication with Tara and her team, we were able to design a website that speaks Nortec Fire language and showcase their customer-centric approach. We designed their new website with a focus on converting visits into enquiries, and we were proud to see web enquiries going up on day one, meaning that users find the new website trustworthy. We are happy with the final result.
