We’re after a PHP Developer, and we'd like someone with:
- Experience of Web development, ideally in a commercial setting
- Understanding of OOP / MVC
- Good knowledge of PHP
- Knowledge of Git
- Knowledge of JavaScript (vue.js or jQuery a plus)
- The ability to code clean, semantic HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience working with databases
- The ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts such as MVC / frameworks
- Good organisational, communication and inter-personal skills
- The ability to work in a team
- An awareness of customer care
You will work alongside some of the best Developers and Business Analysts in the North East on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, keeping your own skill set sharp.
You will be able to work on your choice of operating system and development environment, and budget will be available for travelling to user group talks such as OWASP Newcastle, Frontend NE or PHP NE.

Environment: Our modern, bright offices are a great place to work and collaborate with your colleagues. When you need a break there's a spacious downstairs area with pool and table football - and there's even an onsite gym (with fortnightly office visits from a personal trainer) and shower facilities if you fancy a workout.
Location: Our Darlington office is a short walk from the town centre or train station and has free on-site car parking. There are also nearby bus stops with regular services. So we're ideally placed for any kind of commute.

Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary of £21,000 - £30,000 based on experience. 38 hour working week, with early finish on a Friday. 24 days holiday + bank holidays as standard, with increased allowance the longer you stay with the company.
