 how we tackled it

We worked to create a new responsive website that Explore Britain's customers would find a delight to use, that would be easy to manage and update and with search engine optimisation in mind.

 the result

We added conversion goals into the Explore Britain google analytics, to track where the most profibable customers are coming from, and it showed that the site got new bookings within hours of going live. Here's what they put on Twitter:

I am so pleased with the finished result, not least because it is better and viewable on many different platforms, but because I never felt out of control. The designers produced a superior product based on my previous website, and asked my opinion. Even after the job was finished and paid for, I was able to contact Graham about small things I hadn't spotted or understood. "Until we finished this project, the old Explore Britain website that we built in 1998 was still going strong. It was the oldest website that we'd built that was still around. So although this new one is a vast improvement in every way it's slightly bittersweet to put the new site live, it would be nice if this one lasts 16 years."
